Burger King Rib Sandwich Nutrition

Since the early 80s, The McDonald's McRib has had the fast food rib sandwich market cornered, but that's about to change. Burger King has just announced their new Rib Sandwich, a seasonal item clearly modeled after the McRib.

Like the McRib, the Burger King Rib Sandwich features a boneless rib patty. And since there's no such thing as a boneless rib, it means that this is really just some pork pressed into a rib shape. On top of that rib-shaped patty you'll find tangy BBQ sauce and butter pickles.

If Burger King's Rib Sandwich sounds pretty delicious to you, you might be wondering about its nutritional value. Can you make the BK Rib Sandwich a staple of your summer diet and still fit into that bathing suit? Let's examine the nutrition facts and find out!

That's right, some people actually like food that doesn't suck... and McDonald's is just now realizing it.

So what is McDonald's doing with this revelation? Well, they've created a new product to win the hearts of Millennials: the new Premium McWrap. The memo proudly calls the McWrap a "Subway buster" and claims that a full 22% of McWrap customers would have gone to Subway had the McWrap not been on McDonald's menu.

Arby's King's Hawaiian Roast Beef Nutrition

For a limited time, Arby's will be serving up their famous roast beef on King's Hawaiian sweet roll buns. If you've ever had a square, buttery dinner roll from a cafeteria, odds are it was a King's Hawaiian roll. For those who haven't had the pleasure, the King's Hawaiian website describes their rolls by saying that they are fluffy and moist and that "you can taste the aloha inside". Um... delicious? (sorry I don't know what "aloha" tastes like)

In addition to being served on these aloha-filled buns, the King's Hawaiian Roast Beef Sandwich has 1/3 more roast beef than an Arby's Classic Roast Beef Sandwich. Is a sweet roll and extra beef not enough to please you? Well then the King's Hawaiian Roast Beef and Swiss Sandwich is for you! It adds Swiss cheese, pickles and a creamy Dijon sauce.

So what kind of nutritional punch do these King's Hawaiian Roast Beef Sandwiches pack? Are they loaded with calories? Are they a healthy lunch option?

KFC Boneless Chicken Nutrition

Mark your calendars, because according KFC, April 14, 2013 will be “the greatest day in chicken history”. That's right, this Sunday KFC will turn the chicken world on its head as it releases its new Original Recipe Boneless Chicken.

Boneless chicken? Is that even possible? KFC claims it is. Their scientists worked around the clock to find a way to remove the bones of the chicken, using a process that I can only assume involves bone-melting lasers. Or magic. Or maybe they just cut the chicken meat off the bone... you know the same process used to make this boneless chicken. Or this. Or this. Or this. Maybe this boneless chicken isn't as revolutionary as KFC would like you to think.

Besides not having bones, what do you need to know about this new wonder of the chicken world? Well it comes in either white or dark meat varieties and it's seasoned with the Colonel's Original Recipe of herbs and spices, breaded and fried.

Is the new KFC boneless chicken healthy? How does the nutritional value of the boneless chicken compare to the original bone-in chicken?
